Carl D. Perkins Job Corps Center, located in Prestonsburg, Kentucky, offers a high school diploma program, a GED program and co-enrollment at a local technical institute and a nearby community college, in addition to the following vocational training programs:

Carl D. Perkins Job Corps Center has dormitories with the capacity to house 300 students. There are many fun activities to take part in on center, such as billiards, arts and crafts and choir, as well as several sports, including basketball, softball, soccer, volleyball, track and field and baseball.

Students can also take advantage of leadership opportunities through the Student Government Association and community service projects.

Carl D. Perkins Job Corps Center has partnerships with many local employers so students can get real work experience. Employer partners include American Commercial Barge Lines, Baird & Baird LLC, BellSouth, Food City, Highlands Regional Medical Center, Lester and Tackett LLC, Peebles Department Store and State Electric, Inc.
