Pittsburgh Job Corps Center has five dormitories and trains more than 1,000 students each year. There are many fun activities to take part in on center, such as billiards, arts and crafts, aerobics and weightlifting, as well as several sports, including basketball, softball, soccer and volleyball.

Students can also take advantage of leadership opportunities through the Student Government Association and community service projects.

Pittsburgh Job Corps Center partners with several employers to give students real-world experience. Employer partners include Beverly Health Care; the Community College of Allegheny County; Dynamic Educational System, Inc.; Dollar Bank; Dial America; Echo Starr; Home Depot; Lexington Home; Mellon Bank; the Salvation Army; the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System.
