Job Corps Center

Red Rock Job Corps Center, located in Lopez, Pennsylvania, offers a high school diploma program and a GED program, in addition to the following vocational training programs:

Automotive Repair Health Occupations
Bricklayer Hotel Management
Business Technologies Landscape Technician
Carpentry Painter
Electrical Wiring Plumber
Facilities Maintenance  

Red Rock Job Corps Center has nine dormitories and trains more than 450 students each year. There are many fun activities to take part in on center, such as billiards, arts and crafts and weightlifting, as well as several sports, including baseball, basketball, softball, soccer and volleyball.

Students can also take advantage of leadership opportunities through the Student Government Association and community service projects.

Red Rock Job Corps Center partners with several employers to give students real-world experience. Employer partners include the Alliance of Automotive Services Providers of Pennsylvania, Commission of Economic Opportunity, Appleby Window, Fairmount Township, Firestone Tire & Auto Centers, Motor World, Monroe Muffler and Brake, Auto Parts, Sears, Riders World, Valley Chevrolet, Tierney Masonry, Orangeville Nursing Home and Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
