What is Job Corps?
Job Corps is a free career technical training and education program for income eligible students ages 16 through 24. Each year Job Corps trains more than 60,000 students in more than 100 career technical areas at 122 centers across the nation. Through Job Corps, students gain the experience they need to get better jobs and take control of their lives.
The program offers youth hands-on training in America's fastest growing careers, the chance to earn a high school diploma or GED and help finding a job. Job Corps also provides participants with a counselor whom students can call for help for up to 18 months after graduation.
Simply put, Job Corps provides students with an opportunity to develop the skills they need to succeed in a promising career.
Job Corps might be right for you or someone you know if you:
