The Literacy and Numeracy Guidebook was developed based on the results of the Year 1 evaluation of numeracy and literacy practices at centers in the Philadelphia Region. It is designed to assist all Job Corps centers in implementing literacy and numeracy building activities into their classrooms and after-training-day programs. It also provides suggestions for follow-up to the Professional Development Institute held for Region II academic managers and reading and mathematics teachers in Harrisonburg, VA in July 2006.
This form is required to be completed for all students desiring to enter the armed forces upon completion of the Job Corps program.
